In recent years, the factors of regional development have been constantly changing: opportunities and threats have changed dramatically, risks are assessed differently. The current strategies of the regions do not take into account such changes. In order not to treat the strategy as a simulation document, it needs to be revised. In some situations, such a revision will only be an adaptation to changes in the external environment, and in other cases, a radical reworking, a change in strategy.
Questions for discussion:
1. How to understand that it is time to change the strategy, and what should become the core of territorial strategies in the new realities?
2. What territories are currently “at risk”, i.e. most likely to face the need for a radical review of the strategy?
3. What strategic management tools are needed in an era of turbulence?
