The infrastructure of investments in sustainable development is being formed in Russia, a regulatory framework for launching green and social projects has been created, and a mechanism for financing social impact projects is being developed. The implementation of such projects makes it possible not only to solve the problems of a certain group of social beneficiaries, but also to lay the foundation for positive changes in the social sphere in the regions as a whole.
In 2022, the country’s economy found itself in a zone of increased turbulence, external factors are pushing Russian companies to change the focus of their activities, significantly transform transport and logistics chains, and look for new partnerships and interaction formats.
An important task of the current period is to preserve the continuous life of enterprises and organizations, restore the missing links of production chains due to import substitution on the basis of national infrastructure and build effective communications between federal and regional authorities, business and other stakeholders.
Within the framework of the round table, the mechanisms for building effective business communications with the regions of presence will be considered on the example of the programs of the largest banks, development institutions and large companies - members of the National Network of the UN Global Compact. The initiatives of business associations on the issues of external evaluation of companies’ activities in the field of sustainable development will also be considered.
Issues for discussion:
• Priorities for interaction between regional authorities and business in the face of new challenges in the context of 2022.
• Involvement of Russian business and development institutions in the sustainable development agenda and their impact on new trends in the development of Russian regions.
• Implementation of corporate programs of companies in the regions as a contribution to the solution of national strategic objectives.
• Mechanisms for promoting responsible business conduct in SMEs as a contribution to the sustainability of regions.
• The relevance of the ESG-banking system in Russia for the development of "green instruments" of financing and the development of a green economy.
